Looks like two Sony HD cameras and an Edirol R-09 recorder set up in front of Showalter Fountain. What they're doing there, I am not sure :) -- Ptmoore

I think that's a LANC Shepherd rather than an Edirol recorder. Was someone shooting a stereo video, or was that as a backup for a live broadcast? No idea what they're doing there. Joe 13:40, 19 June 2009 (EDT)

Correct! Joe got it most correct. This was an odd mystery picture, but I had just finished work on this shoot and took some stills of the rig. This was for a stereo video project I was working on for a summer class. I'm going to post a parallel side-by-side version to YouTube (sometime after recovering from this summer class) for those of you that can free view stereo content. The cameras were from the IU Department of Telecommunications and the tripod, slide bar, and LANC Shepherd were from the IU Advanced Visualization Lab. Chris Eller 00:25, 21 June 2009 (EDT)
