The Showers Brothers move their furniture store to rooms on the east side of The Square.

Messrs. Turner and Tomlinson, owners of a spoke factory, skip town in order to avoid paying their creditors. Turner's house had been robbed of $800 recently, and many conclude that this robbery was faked also. Frank Rogers resumed his previous ownership of the factory.

L. D. Worrall opens a shop for repairing, oiling and cleaning harness in the south room of the Mershon Building on the east side of The Square. He announces he will accept produce of any kind in payment.
