Bat World Hoosier Hills, a Regional Center of Bat World Sanctuary, was formed in the fall of 2004 to facilitate bat rescue, rehabilitation, conservation, education, and research in Indiana. They work closely with Bat World South Indy to achieve these goals.

Bat World Hoosier Hills provides education programs for all ages, since no one is ever too old to learn about bats. Programs include a slide show or powerpoint presentation and the opportunity to meet Luna and Millie - two real Big Brown Bats (Eptisicus fuscus). Programs include information on various local species of bats, their environmental importance, and what to do if you find a sick or injured bat.

Bat World Hoosier Hills closed down in September of 2009.
