Betty Ann Kinser

Betty Ann Kinser (? - February 8, 1936 was a pioneer resident of Monroe County. According to newspaper accounts, she was born on the same farm that she died, in the southeast corner of the county.
Her father was George Sipes, and she married Austin Kinser. They had at least five children: William, George, David, Thomas, and Mrs. Ben Deckard.
A farm wife, she rarely left her farm, and it was said she had never even seen a train.
She was reputedly born on November 9, 1826, which would have made her 109 at the time of her death.
