Bloomington Then & Now
Bloomington Then & Now is a book of photos and notes showing historical pictures of various buildings around Bloomington and what they currently look like today. The book was written to show the evolution of the Bloomington landscape over the past 100 years. It was created by Derek Richey and Jennifer Sommer-Richey, better known as "Bloomington Fading" and was released in November 2012 by publisher Pen and Publish run by local resident Paul Burt. The book was written in partnership with the Monroe County History Center and sponsored by many local businesses and organizations including the City of Bloomington. Further volumes of the book are planned in 2014.
