Charles A. Mobley

Charles A. Mobley, or Moberly, (1833? - 1910) was a businessman who lived in Bloomington in the late 19th century. He was the owner of the Golden Rule.
Born in Monroe County, he resided on a farm until 1865 when he moved into town. He ran the Golden Rule until ca. 1888 before retiring due to ill health.
Mobley married the former Nancy Shields and they had at least four children: Mrs. Kate (Mobley) Corr, Mrs. Laura (Mobley) Compton, James Mobley, and Edward Mobley.
He died on April 27, 1910.
