Charles Wylie

Charles Emery Wylie was the owner of the Wylie Furniture Store in the early 20th century.
Born in Bedford, he was the son of John H. Wylie and the former Catherine Voss, but lived almost his entire life in Bloomington. He entered the furniture business at the age of 20 with his father and continued the business along with his brother Allan Wylie after their father's death.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church and a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
He had one son, Dr. Charles Wylie, Jr..
