Citizens' Loan & Trust Building

The Citizens' Loan and Trust Company Building stood at the southwest corner of the courthouse square. It was built on the site of the Original Gentry Building, which was destroyed by fire. The Citizens Loan Building was demolished to make way for a new building for First National Bank of Bloomington. First National was acquired by BankOne, which was in turn acquired by J.P. Morgan Chase. This latest building is now occupied by Chase, among other businesses.
