Eleanor Fell
From Bloomingpedia
Eleanor Fell is an acclaimed harpist.
Graduating from Indiana University in 1965, Fell was a classical performer for many years, but is noted for her arrangements of popular melodies from Gershwin, Ellington, and others. She has traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, and the Far East, and also played in the New York Rockefeller Center Rainbow Room in the mid-70's.
In 1985 she moved back to Bloomington with her husband, Lee Caulfield, and opened Vanderbilt Music, a shop specializing in the harp. (The Jacobs School of Music is probably the best school in the world for harpists).
Fell is the daughter of Irving Fell.
