Hannah Moss
Hannah Moss is from Snellville, Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) in Theatre & Drama. Hannah is a Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Theatre of the People (TOP), a new non-profit theatre company based in Bloomington, and she's the Associate VORP Case Manager at Community Justice & Mediation Center (CJAM).
Hannah is an actor, director, costume designer, makeup designer, playwright, and poet. She is a former Ensemble of Artists Member (EOA) at the Bloomington Playwrights Project and a former actor, director and producer for Monroe County Civic Theater (MCCT).
Hannah's directing credits include TOP's "Salome", "A Dolls House", and "Peace on Terror" that played at the 2008 Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival, as well as MCCT's "Little Red Riding Hood" and Director's Symposium XIII (2008). She also choreographed for TOP's "Rossum's Universal Robots" and "Salome".
Acting credits include: Theatre of the People - Medea in "Medea"; Dr. Stockmann in "An Enemy of the People" Monroe County Civic Theatre - Greta in "Little Red Riding Hood"; March Hare in "Through the Looking Glass"; Ebenezer Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" Bloomington Playwrights Project - Hillary in "Party Girls; Mom in "PlayOffs 2007"; Woman in "Alone in the Light 2008" Indiana University, Independant Projects - Beth in "Dinner with Friends; Phebe in "As You Like It" Indiana University Mainstage - Bella in "Big Love" New London Theatre - Various roles including Puck in "Midsummer Night's Dream", Bilbo Baggins in "The Hobbit", and a recurring role of the Hag in "A Christmas Carol"
Hannah designed the costumes for the IU Mainstage production of "Reel", a world premier by IU graduate playwright Paul Shoulberg. She also assistant designed "A Chorus Line" and did makeup design for "Our Country's Good" at Indiana University.
Hannah worked as a seamstress and costume assistant at the Indiana University Department of Theatre & Drama from 2004 to 2007, and worked on each mainstage show during that time as well as the Brown County Playhouse productions. She also worked as Wardrobe Supervisor for productions including "Pumpboys & Dinettes", "Greater Tuna", "Urinetown", and "The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged". She specializes in quick-change shows.
Hannah has appeared as a Featured Extra in the feature film "Sweet Home Alabama", and participated as an extra in "The Fighting Temptations" and "Dumb and Dumberer".
