Heather Cohee

Heather Cohee was township trustee for Benton Township from 2008 to 2012.
She resigned in 2012 after audits found that she had failed to document money she had paid to her husband, Todd Cohee, for work he did for the township. She had also paid herself and members of her family without proper documentation, and was ordered to repay more than $100,000.
In 2013 she defaulted on the payment and Judge E. Michael Hoff tripled the repayment amount.
