Hoosier Hills Food Bank

The mission of the Hoosier Hills Food Bank is to collect, store and distribute nutritious food products to non-profit organizations, which provide free feeding programs that serve both ill and needy families and individuals in Monroe, Martin, Owen, Orange, Brown, and Lawrence Counties in Central Indiana.
History
Opened in 1983. As of late 2005, it had distributed over 17 million pounds of food.
