Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art
Located in a building designed by noted architect I. M. Pei, the Indiana University Art Museum is a small but elegant collection of artistic treasures from around the world. There is no charge to enter the museum's four galleries, one each devoted to European, African, and Asian art, and a fourth dedicated to pieces created by IU art professors and travelling showcases. The museum has two Picassos, a Monet, a Rembrandt and a mummy case among its pieces.
The museum is located at 1133 E. 7th Street on the north west corner of the Fine Arts Square. While there is no very convenient parking, a hike from the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage past the Auditorium gets you there in ten minutes or so. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10AM to 5PM, and Sunday 12PM to 5PM.
