Indiana University Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing board of Indiana University. The board is the final authority and legal owner of the University. It consists of nine members, and the membership, powers, responsibilities, and procedures are controlled by the state of Indiana's legislative code.
The board was created at the same time that Indiana Seminary was founded on January 20, 1820.
The Trustees currently meet nine times a year, and meetings are open to the public.
