Jada B. (Born in Bloomington IN November 16, 1979) Poet/Singer/Songwriter/Performance Artist. She is the lead singer for the all girl band The Ladyquakes! & founder of Verbal Terrorism Productions,& The Bloomington Burlesque Brigade. She recently hosted serveral Bloomington events: Ars Amicorum: the art of your friends, The Hoochie Coo Burlesque Party! presented by Verbal Terrorism Productions & Boxcar Books' 3rd Annual Naughty or Nice Benefit Party with special guests The Bloomington Burlesque Brigade.

Biography
Jada B. sometimes stylized as jada b. is an ex-member of defunct bands The Wina-Freds, The Prizms & Bonanza Jellybean. She has played with Bitch + The Exciting Conclusion, Von Iva, Sick of Sarah & Andy D. She is a local gay rights activist & sometimes guest host on BloomingOut Radio on WFHB. She also gives spoken word poetry lectures & performances to local high schools & taught a poetry workshop at the local chapter of the Girls Club in Bloomington IN.
She attended Indiana University where she studied Theatre, Telecommunications, Gender Studies & Folklore. During her time at IU she supplied the voice of Marie Shannon in Mind's Ear Audio Produciton French Quater by Joel Pierson and Dana Dyer Pierson. It was the winner of the Golden Headset for Best Multicast Audio of the Year and the Communicator Award Crystal Award of Excellence. In Oct 2001 she founded Verbal Terrorism Productions as a response to her concerns that America was heading for war after the 9/11 attacks. Based in Bloomington Indiana , Verbal Terrorism Productions or VTP for short; strives to create a place for artistry to flourish in rural Indiana far away from the corporate media & the commercial art & music scene. It has also been a haven for Indie touring artists to expand their friendship and fan base. In 2009 VTP produced many events in Bloomington including music showcases, burlesque workshops & showcases, poetry churches, burlesque parties & art shows.
Currently she is busy recording vocals for various local/regional bands & artists as well as producing The Ladyquakes! upcoming EP "NoNo". Also she is in planning & funding raising stages for future events for Verbal Terrorism Productions & the Bloomington Burlesque Brigade. She can be heard often on BloomingOut Radio on WFHB as a guest host & performer & in & around Bloomington performing with her various musical & theatrical groups.
