Jeff Welty
Jeff T. Welty, a native of central Texas, has worked as a System Administrator and Web Applications Developer at non-profit organizations such as Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana University's Global Research NOC, and the Learn More Resource Center at the IU School of Education (formerly ICPAC). After finishing a contract job with a subsidiary of Boeing he now works as a sysadmin at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington DC. He founded the Linux Special Interest Group, which has since morphed into the Indiana University Computing for the Commons. He is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Science, and also is interested in Open Source Software.
