Jim Harvey
Jim Harvey served as superintendent of the MCCSC from 2006 to 2008.
Prior to that, Harvey was named assistant principal at Dyer Middle School in 1967, principal at University High School in 1969, principal at Bloomington High School North in 1975 and MCCSC personnel director in 1984.
Coaxed out of retirement in 2006 as a temporary replacement for John Maloy, Mr. Harvey's qualities soon induced the school board to make the title permanent.
In July 2008, Mr. Harvey unexpectedly announced his resignation. "Working with the board over the last few months, it has become clear to me that I have done all that I can.", he said.
Harvey was educated at DePauw University in Greencastle.
