John R. Myers II

John Myers was convicted of the murder of Jill Behrman in October of 2003. After Behrman's partial remains were discovered in a wooded area of Morgan County on March 9, 2003, investigators focused on Myers, and he was arrested the next month. He was subsequently tried and convicted in what the state termed a "circumstantial" case against him. His conviction was largely the result of his grandmother's testimony that Myers told her he had "done bad things" and testimony from co-workers that he stated Behrman would "probably be found in the woods." Myers later appealed his conviction to the Indiana State Supreme Court, but the conviction was upheld.
