Kathleen Horejz was the first executive chef at The Bakehouse in Bloomington. She left a year or two later and was later accepted into the American Pavilion Culinary Program at the Cannes International Film Festival in 1998. She visited wineries and restuarants in southern France and cooked for the film festival attendees.
