Keith Welch
Keith Allan Welch (b. 1961) was born in Lima, New York. He studied Astronomy and Physics at Vassar College (1979-1983 B.A.). After coming to Bloomington in 1983 to study Astrophysics at IU, he left after one year without a degree. Subsequently he worked for the IU High-Energy Physics Group as a technician from 1985 - 1990, where he built radiation tracking equipment for experiments at Brookhaven National Lab, Fermilab, and CERN. He lived in St. Genis, France during 1986.
Attended the Jacobs School of Music (1990-1993 A.S.) where he studied string instrument repair and manufacture. He has made two 4/4 violins.
Keith Welch currently works in the Indiana University Herman B Wells Library as a Network and Software analyst.
