Larry Mongin

Larry Mongin was a gifted technologist and dedicated community activist. Larry's contribution to the Bloomington community are numerous. In the late 1990s, Larry started an informal technology brownbag lunch series that was often referred to as Lunches with Larry. In 2002 He co-founded Humanetrix, a Bloomington-based technology-oriented non-profit organization. He was involved with Center for Sustainable Living projects with a particular interest in urban gardens and naturalized plantings. He was an avid cycler.
Larry Mongin passed away February 4, 2004 [1]. A tree was planted in Bryan Park to commemorate Larry's life and contributions.
