Lauren Spierer

Lauren Spierer is an Indiana University student who went missing on June 3rd, 2011 in Bloomington.

Spierer, a native of Westchester County, NY, is a sophomore studying fashion merchandising. She was 20 years old at the time of her disappearance, and had been an intern at the clothing store Anthropologie in New York City.

A tireless volunteer worker, Spierer had traveled to New Orleans in 2008 to help build a home in an area destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, and in March 2011 she had gone to Israel to paint buildings, plant trees, and do other work.

Spierer is 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs between 90 and 100 pounds and has blue eyes and blonde hair just below the shoulder. If you have any information regarding Lauren Spierer, contact the Bloomington Police Department at 812-339-4477.
