Little Africa Wildlife Viewing Area
From Bloomingpedia
The Little Africa Wildlife Viewing Area is a peninsula into Lake Lemon that is vaguely shaped like the continent of Africa. Visitors may park on the lot off of South Shore Drive and walk the half-mile trail around the peninsula. A popular place for bird watching, visitors may often see waterfowl, woodcock, and various shorebirds such as herons and egrets, and bald eagles have been known to nest near the lake as well.
