Noble Bush
Noble Bush (June 16, 1914-1979) was a long time employee of Johnson Creamery and a leader in youth sports.
He was a 1991 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame on which his plaque reads "Honors (Post-1946) A 48-year employee of Johnson Creamery who was a leader of youth sports in the community. One of the baseball diamonds at the Winslow Sports Complex is named in his honor."
Born in Orange County, he began working for Johnson Creamery in Bloomington when he was 14 years old and retired in 1977.
He coached baseball and basketball at Grandview Elementary School and was a charter member of the Little League organization in Bloomington. He was director of Little League for 10 years and a member of the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame. He was a former manager of the Johnson Creamery Babe Ruth League team and took the Bloomington team to the national championships in 1957.
