Profile Parkway
Profile Parkway is an road for quick access to many of the industries on the west side of Bloomington. It starts at Curry Pike next to General Electric and Print Pak. It goes west about 1/2 mile and curves around at Wayne's Lane where it continues on the old path of Wayne's Lane until it reaches the stoplight at 3rd Street. It was created in the 1990s and finished in the early 2000s.
In the summer of 2007 it was used as part of a detour due to the work being performed on the bridge on Vernal Pike. A stop sign was added at the intersection of Loesch Road. This new stop sign annoyed several drivers and some would even run straight through the stop sign in protest. The stop sign was removed on August 28th as part of the plan to end the detour.
