Sinking Creek
From Bloomingpedia
Sinking Creek is a small stream just west of SR 37. It drains the land from south of Vernal Pike to the intersection of Bloomfield Road and Airport Road, where it dives into an underground sinkhole. It travels underground for roughly a mile before reappearing in the Leonard Springs Nature Park.
The heavily industrialized area includes the old Westinghouse plant that was contaminated by PCBs, and many heavily used roads and parking lots.
