5th street name change
I used to live in the area where the name change was. At one point I called the phone company about a bill, and had to spend a long time convincing them that 1020 W. 5th and 1020 W. Kirkwood were actually the same address ;) --Benfulton 13:39, 6 July 2007 (EDT)

Burritos as big as your head
The place linked here as "Burritos as big as your head" was actually named La Bamba - that was just their slogan. It's a regional chain that still exists in IN/IL, but not in Bloomington anymore. I vaguely remember this opening in the 92/93 timeframe; I know it was open in the fall of 93, because I had a not-so-pleasant experience eating it right before a long roadtrip (TMI) --Jkonrath (talk) 10:25, 31 October 2019 (EDT)
