Trevor Brown
Trevor Alexander Brown, 21, is one of two managing editors at the Indiana Daily Student, Indiana University's student newspaper. Brown is a junior majoring in journalism at IU-Bloomington, and he plans to graduate sometime next year. Brown grew up in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
IDS jobs
Brown began work at the IDS in spring of 2005. He reported on the administration beat in fall of 2006. The following spring, he served as Nation & World editor. After Brown's semester, the IDS retired the Nation & World editor position.
On Friday, March 30th, the IU Student Media Board selected Brown to serve as the Editor in Chief of the IDS for the Fall 2007 semester. Brown served as Campus Editor in both the summer and fall semesters of 2006.
Useless trivia and fun
Brown was recently initiated into "the world's oldest, most prestigious fraternity," Tau Tau Tau, said senior co-worker Brittany Hite. Brown said he is proud to be a part of Tau Tau Tau.
"It's a great organization, one that I'm proud to be a part of, and it literally changed my life," he said.
