Although the church was originally conceived as a meeting place for Baptist Indiana University students, the church's current location on the far east side precludes easy student access. With less than fifty members, the church is small but friendly, and attracts quite a few University faculty and staff members. The senior pastor is Annette Hill-Briggs.
