Walter Sare

Walter Sare (abt. 1877-1922) ran meat markets in Bloomington and Bedford at the beginning of the 20th century. He had run a meat market on Walnut Street for several years before selling it to Charles Hinkle months before his death. He had begun a meat market on the Dixie Highway in Bedford, and was driving to Orleans for a supply of meat when his car struck another car parked along the road. He was taken to Dunn Hospital in Bedford but died of massive head injuries without regaining consciousness.
Mr. Sare married the former Frances Campbell and was a nephew of Thomas Sare.
