9th Street
9th street is divided into three sections. Starting from the west side, there is a short 600 foot section between Spring Street and Hopewell Street, which are both close to the entrance of Valhalla Memory Gardens. This section was most likely divided because of the railroad and also some industrial facilities.
The second section is another short section about twice as long that runs from Elm Street to Jackson Street. This section was probably divided because of the downtown railroad that used to cross Rogers Street and also because of Showers Brothers Furniture.
The third section is a one way street that runs east to west from Woodlawn Avenue to Morton Street. This is divided by the Indiana University campus and Showers Plaza.
