Briscoe Quadrangle
From Bloomingpedia
Overview
Briscoe Quadrangle is a three building residence hall on the north side of the Indiana University campus. It is similar in construction to Forest Residence Hall and Willkie. It is located on the southwest corner of Fee Lane and 17th Street and the closest dorm to the IU Sports Complex. Twice a year, Briscoe hosts the IU Computer Gaming Club's LAN War in their south dining hall.
Briscoe was built in 1966 and was designed by the architectural firms James & Associates and Eggers and Higgins. It was named after Herman Thompson Briscoe, a university Vice President and Dean of Faculties.
