Hiram Lindley

Dr. Hiram Lindley (Nov. 27, 1827 - 1893) was a prominent early businessman.
Born in Orange County, he pursued farming and apothecary work there before moving to Bloomington sometime in the 1870's. He formed a short-lived partnership in the drug trade with M.F. Arnold but bought his partner out quickly.
On June 23rd, 1859, Lindley married the former Laura White, and they had seven children. He later also married the former Elizabeth Trueblood.
