Jesse Howe

Jesse A. Howe (March 11, 1869 - Aug. 25, 1927) was owner of a Downtown candy store and Bloomington city treasurer.
The son of Joshua O. Howe, Jesse Howe was born and raised in Bloomington, and embarked in the confectionery business in 1893. He was elected treasurer in 1910 and again in 1914.
Howe married the former Larena Hopewell on June 3, 1896, and they had one child, Fred H. Howe. Fred designed an electric sign for his father's candy store.
