Omega Building
From Bloomingpedia
The Omega Building is located on the southeast corner of 7th Street and Walnut Street. Built in 2001, the building has won awards for the careful blending of its brick-and-limestone facade with the other buildings in the area.
The building occupies a site that had stood vacant for 15 years. Owned by Rob Friedman and Mary Friedman of Omega Properties, the building was designed by Kirkwood Design Studio and built by Weddle Brothers Construction.
The lowest level has seen a succession of restaurants, starting with L'Opera and the U Club, and currently houses Alchemy Restaurant.
