Memorial Hall
From Bloomingpedia
Memorial Hall was built in 1924 for use as a women's dormitory. By the late 70's it had been converted to use as office space. In 2017 it was converted back into a dorm.
After World War I, Indiana University put together a memorial drive, with the goal of building a women's dormitory, a new student union, and a football stadium. Memorial Hall, the Indiana Memorial Union (actually what amounted to a men's club at the time), and the original Memorial Stadium at 10th Street and Fee Lane were the results.
The building was architected by Lowe & Bollenbacher.
