Paul V. McNutt

Paul V. McNutt (b. 1891, d. 1955) was the dean of the Indiana University School of Law until 1933 and the Governor of Indiana from 1933 to 1937.
He was a 1986 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame on which his plaque reads "Honors (Pre-1946) Indiana Governor from 1933 to 1937, Paul V. McNutt received his degree from Indiana University in 1913 and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1916. He was Dean of the IU Law School when he was elected Governor in 1933. He helped establish the American Legion in Bloomington and was its state commander in 1927, and national commander in 1928-1929."
