Zora G. Clevenger
Zora G. Clevenger (b. December 12, 1881, d. November 24, 1970) was an athlete and coach at Indiana University. He played football, basketball and baseball as well as was a coach of basketball at IU in 1905 and 1906. The Clevenger Award is named after him. He was a halfback on IU's football team.
He is a 1984 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame where his plaque reads "Athlete, coach and Athletic Director at Indiana University and for whom IU's 'Clevenger Award' is named. He served as athletic director from 1923-1946. He was named to the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame and was the recipient of IU's Distinguished Alumnus Award."
He was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1968.
